Dispatchable Power
Hallador Energy believes America’s strength depends on a reliable energy grid. Hallador Power Company provides dispatchable power when needed most—supporting grid stability and energy security.
As electric demand rises, so does the need for dependable generation. The Merom Generating Station, a two-unit, 1,080-MW coal-fired plant in Sullivan County, Indiana, is central to that mission. In continuous operation since 1982, the plant has long supported power needs across the Midwest and now supplies energy to Hoosier Energy customers and the broader grid.
Power generation is a natural extension of Hallador’s evolution. We believe in a diverse energy future and that keeping the grid reliable is essential to getting there.
